now that streetdirectary.com is dead (link: Virtual Map shuts down street directory site after losing suit) if you want to do some distance calculating or jog route planning you have to find some alternatives.
some one has suggested can.com.sg. but no… that one totally cant make it…
proudly to introduce this Google Maps Distance Calculator. it’s powerful (of course, it’s using google map engine) and easy to use. definitely it’s better than the already dead streetdirectary.com and 100 times better than the lousy can.com.sg.

hmm….doesn’t show blks though….can’t really use it for searching places…

agree… also lack the feature of bus route info
but well it’s really cool for its distance calculation
