now that streetdirectary.com is dead (link: Virtual Map shuts down street directory site after losing suit) if you want to do some distance calculating or jog route planning you have to find some alternatives.

some one has suggested can.com.sg. but no… that one totally cant make it…

proudly to introduce this Google Maps Distance Calculator. it’s powerful (of course, it’s using google map engine) and easy to use. definitely it’s better than the already dead streetdirectary.com and 100 times better than the lousy can.com.sg.

recently i have been following this show “pimp my ride” from 11pm to 12pm on MTV chinese everyday. have to say it’s an amazing show. those guys are really cool for what they are capable of — turning a piece of junk into an ultimate dream car. they can hook up anything to the car: body kit, bling bling rims, tablet pc, DVD player, super powerful sound system, big LCD TV, projector… you name it… i even saw they put a bathtub in a van and a pool table in a mini truck… x_x

and i watch this ep last night… it features a Volkswagen Type 2 minu bus!! look at the bus after it’s pimped… that will be my dream car (or shall i say dream bus??) !!!

the long delayled F1 singapore grand prix ticket sales finally kicked start today. however what ppl get after long time waiting is still disappointment - all thanks to the lousy ticket system. since the early morning im not able to access the online ticket booking system. went to 2 of the ticket sales outlets but the queue there din seem moving at all. most probably those outlets just using the same online ticket system. ticket sales hotline was always in the busy tone in the afternoon too…

really disappointed with the SGP ticketing, not only because the system canot make it but also because no announcement from the SGP offical to explain why it happens, when it’s supposed to resumed and how the public could be helped to buy the ticket.

over smoked n over drank over the night unitl getting a bit sick when i woke up the next day.

having sore throat, cough n blocked nose for days liao…

hmmm… think im not that young anymore…

Sooooooo much work to do…

Yesterday was burnt and so is today. wuuuuu…… my weekend ya…

I even din have time to watch the WC matches. The most i could do is to keep the tv on while im working on my pc, and take a glance on the screen when i hear the exciting shouts from the tv commentator, which means either there is a goal / a stunning shoot or something nasty has happenned.

Last nite worked until 4 (shall i say this morning 4?) and forced myself to wake up at 10. This afternoon felt damn so tired n sleepy. but still need to struggle v hard to stay “alive” to keep on working.

A few things i did to make myself awake n happy enough to work are:

1. Turn on the hip-hop music in my iTune, VERY LOUD!!! and and, follow the beats n shake my head n body…
2. Drink tea, coffee n whatever drinks can give me some coffeine…
3. Drink a lot of water so that i need to get myself out of the chair to the the toilet v often…
4. …
5. …

Later NO MATTER HOW, i will watch the brazil match. Here i say “watch”, it’s to watch, NOT to “watch” while working~~

oh ya, juz now b4 the 2nd half of japan’s match started, tv was showing the fans in the stadium. and i saw a japanese couple holding a v small piece of paper on which they write “Honeymooner” and draw two red hearts~~ soooo cuuuute!!! HAHAHAH~~

生病，奔波着找apartment，三天的long weekend就这样过去了。

因为总是对现在住的地方不是很满意，每年的这个时候，都要为了找新的apartment而忙碌奔波。这个时候的心情总是不好的，找房子的辛苦，尤其是那种居无定所，漂泊流浪的不安定的感觉总会特别的强。我讨厌那不安定的感觉。

今年，这一切的一切又再次上演了。上个礼拜的心情不好，虽然不是主要因为这个，但多多少少和这个那么一点点关系。

今年的状况尤其的不好。新加坡的经济增长率去年下半年和今年第一季狂飙到9％，房地产价格也就水涨船高，租金也自然。房主们似乎要乘机大捞一笔，一个个杀人放火，打家劫舍般的开价，也让我们望而却步。（罗嗦一句，经济涨，房价涨，薪水一点也不涨-____-|||）

三天的long weekend，在几次的从东到西的长距离奔波和无数通的phone call之后，在朋友的帮助下，终于确定了接下来一年将会stay的apartment。这次会搬去Bukit Batok的一个condo。我将在东北『农村』住了2年之后，响应党的号召，向着西部大踏步滴前进——前进！！！

三天的奔走和忙碌终于没有白费，总算是安定了下来了。很想谢谢朱哥和神，帮我联络房东。还有就是一起share apartment的puchi，单单和伟哥，谢谢他们的理解和支持和一些牺牲，他们不同意的话，不可能这么快就确定下来。

最近2个月我很忙。Blog久久才更来新一次。

朋友们似乎也都一下子在同一时间也忙了起来，躲的躲，藏的藏，都不见了踪影，他们的blog也都长满了草了。

第一个要点名批评的是王伟同学，2006年半年快过去了，一共才写了2篇，羞耻不羞耻啊。

其他人那？

点点消失了；
盛情掉进了恋爱的泥潭不能自拔了；
最最跑到澳洲去做忙着读书 ＋ 帮着他们家DD做菜的乖乖女了；
神写完拖欠了差不多一年的最后一片游记之后也封笔了；
小蝶也彻底从MSN上失踪了；

似乎只有大黄有事没事的在msn space的自留地里无病呻吟一番。

恩，对大家的blog，要球更新，墙——裂——滴——要——球！！！

我是这种人：早上去公司前，头发造型弄的不好的话，会整天都不舒服甚至心情不好，以至于会频频的往厕所里跑去重新梳理梳理。

已经有2个月没有去剪过头发了，其中也可能是工作比较忙，下班比较晚；其实最主要的是我已经厌倦了短发的样式，决定要去把头发留长。但是随着头发越长越长，越长越厚，越来越难梳理和styling。终于，这几天到了忍无可忍，一『发』不可收拾的地步了。。。昨天提早下班，去了常去的Hougang Mall的Jantzen剪头发。比较熟识的缘故，每次都去那边固定的找一个Malaysia的JJ剪。可。。。可是，昨天去到那边才发现，那里Jantzen已经close down了。

试试别的Hair Salons和Styer也好。今天又提早翘班，去了Plaza Sin的Reds，随便叫了一个GG帮偶剪。GG动作超块的，听我说完对头发样式的要求之后，三下两下就剪完了。因为我要求留长的缘故，其实也没剪太多，只是trim薄了一些和剪出一些layer。最后GG还好心的建议我擦clay而不是wax以达到我要的效果。

冲凉前对着镜子随意拨弄了一下头发，做个style轻而易举～～头发trim薄之后，容易manage的多了。不错不错，$30很值，下次还是去找那个GG剪。
